Welcome to Photography by Leonni! I’m Leonni, a fully qualified, award-winning newborn, maternity and family photographer, and I’ve spent the last 12 years doing what I absolutely love — creating beautiful photographs and memories for families.
For me, photography is about so much more than simply taking a picture. It’s about capturing those tiny details, the little expressions, the cuddles, the connection and the love between you. The moments that you might not realise are so precious until you look back on them years later.
I feel incredibly lucky that my job allows me to meet so many wonderful families and become part of their story, even if it’s just for a few hours. There really is nothing quite like handing a parent their finished artwork and seeing the emotion on their face.
Photography by Leonni specialises in maternity, newborn and family photography, with a particular love for those beautiful, fleeting newborn days.
My studio is designed to feel like a home away from home — warm, relaxed, welcoming and completely centred around you and your family. I want you to walk through the door and immediately feel comfortable, rather than feeling like you’re entering a traditional photography studio.
My style is timeless, beautiful and artistic. I want to create images that don't just sit on your phone or disappear into a social media feed. I create stand-out professional images that look like art — photographs you’ll be proud to display throughout your home and treasure for generations.
I’m also passionate about safety, particularly when photographing newborns. I’m fully qualified and have even had the privilege of teaching other photographers about newborn safety. Your baby's safety, comfort and wellbeing will always be my absolute priority.
Having your photographs taken can sometimes feel a little daunting — especially when you're a new mum, you've not had much sleep and you're wondering what on earth you're going to wear!
That's where I come in.
You don't need to know how to pose, where to stand or what to do with your hands. You don't need to worry about whether your baby will sleep, cry or need feeding. And you certainly don't need to be a professional model!
I’ll guide you through the whole experience, from your initial enquiry right through to choosing your beautiful finished artwork. I'll help with posing, styling and preparation, and I'll take care of all the little details so that you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Most importantly, I take your family's care as my highest priority.
I want you to leave my studio feeling relaxed, looked after and excited about the beautiful memories we've created together.

From the moment you enquire, I’m here to answer your questions, help you prepare and make sure you know exactly what to expect. During your session, I’ll take my time and never rush you.
And afterwards, we'll create something tangible from your photographs — beautiful artwork that can be enjoyed every single day.
Because while your little ones won't stay little forever, your photographs can help you remember exactly how they felt in your arms.
Now for the important stuff!
I'm a mummy to two beautiful boys, so I know first-hand just how quickly those little people grow and how important it is to capture the moments while you can.
I'm also a huge lover of family time and have a fantastic group of friends who keep me grounded, entertained and probably slightly more sane than I would otherwise be!
I absolutely love travelling and exploring different parts of the world. There's something about seeing new places, experiencing different cultures and making memories that I just love.
I'm also a proud cat mum to a very spoilt tabby British Shorthair — who, naturally, believes the entire house belongs to him!
I'm fiercely independent, a little bit of a perfectionist and, apparently, the person my friends come to when they need advice. Somewhere along the way I've acquired the unofficial title of “the therapist” in my friendship group!
And finally… I genuinely love what I do. After 12 years, I still get excited about creating beautiful photographs for my clients and watching families grow through the years.
